UK Prime Minister David Cameron to arrive in Islamabad tomorrow

ISLAMABAD (Online): UK Prime Minister David Cameron will arrive here on a two day visit to the country on Saturday (tomorrow).

He would be accorded a warm welcome at Nur Khan Air Base by senior officials. During his visit, he would meet President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and other senior officials of the Foreign Ministry.

The British PM will be discussing the strength of bilateral UK and Pakistan relations, the importance UK attaches to the mutual interests with Pakistan for promoting stability in the region, besides the Afghanistan situation in depth.

According to sources, the Pakistani leaders would brief Cameron about Pakistan’s initiatives for peace and stability in Afghanistan and the country’s commitment for elimination of terror. The British PM will also plant a sapling at Shakarparian during his visit to Islamabad and will sign on the visitors book in this regard.

He will also meet the business community and students during his visit.
